Honda Beltway Campaign
Art Direction | Animation | Design
Honda of America partnered with APCO to strengthen its reputation among lawmakers and policy leaders by highlighting its longstanding contributions to American manufacturing. We developed a digital and broadcast advertising campaign, supported by out-of-home placements, to bring the breadth of Honda’s U.S. investments to audiences across the Washington, D.C. Beltway.
My role spanned art direction, design, and animation, shaping a cohesive visual language across campaign video, digital ads, and out-of-home creative.
The campaign made Honda’s manufacturing investments the foundation of its story, connecting the brand with its lasting contribution to America. Working closely with our in-house research and paid media teams, we paired focused messaging with targeted placements to reach a defined audience of lawmakers and policy influencers.
The visual approach is built around geometric shapes and the interplay of parallelograms. These forms gave the campaign a modern, dynamic quality while guiding attention toward key messages and proof points.
The flexible design system created a recognizable presence across formats, carrying the same visual language from broadcast and digital screens to out-of-home placements.
I brought the graphic system into motion, using the parallelograms to frame imagery, introduce information, and connect scenes. Purposeful movement and pacing gave the story momentum while keeping Honda’s manufacturing contributions at the center of the narrative.
